The Fresh & Onlys have just announced a full North American tour to come just after the release of their latest album, Long Slow Dance, coming out Sept. 4th on Mexican Summer. The band will be joined on the tour by Terry Malts, Grass Widow and Quilt. The entire album, in all its subtle joyfulness, with dark details and Morricone-esque splendor, is streaming now via the Hype Machine.

For such a smooth croon kind of song, this video for “Presence of Mind”, directed by Dawn Carol Garcia, is a bit surprising for its cartoon gore. Nice dichotomy.
