----You're from sunny Florida, yet your music is dark and sexy. How did that happen?
It's so hot and bright outside most of the time that we just hide inside our house until nighttime. our musical influences might help out a little as well.
You tour heavily, mostly in Florida. Do you plan to branch out more often and give the rest of the country some midnight kissin'?
We actually toured all over the U.S. last year. we plan on heading back over to the west coast later this year again. we've been up the east coast a few times... and will be back a few more times before the end of the year. we do tour Florida and the southeast the most because it s where we live, and it s so easy.
What's the most absurd incident that has happened to your band thus far?
We've pretty much rebuilt our van from the inside out throughout all of our touring so far. the most absurd story is us working on replacing our water pump in the parking lot of a car parts store from 5pm until 1am just to give up and have it towed 40 miles to a shop. they had to fix it and put it all back together. it looked like the whole front of the van had exploded.
Why do you do what you do?
Honestly, because we d get depressed if we didn't.
What was your first favorite song?
I had to call my mom on this one... she said that when i was four, we would jam to her records (she would play guitar and i would play the drums) before naptime every day. she said my favorite songs were Led Zeppelin songs... she couldn t recall one in particular. so, let s just go with Led Zeppelin.
